Curriculum

We offer extensive Numeracy and Literacy programmes for the respective age groups as set out as per Early Childhood Development standards.

Each classroom is equipped with an electronic interactive whiteboard to enhance the learning experience across all areas of teaching.

Our pupils enjoy Music and Movement as part of their weekly programme.

Physical Education is offered by Coach H. Hanreck.  Here our coaches focus on improving gross-motor, fine motor and ball skills with our pupils.

Each class visits Holy Cross Primary School once a week to take part in Computer lessons.

Our school has a library stocked with fiction and non-fiction books that is run by our parents.  We aim to encourage our pupils to read and exchange books once a week.

Extra activities

Swimming is offered privately by a qualified swimming coach.  These lessons take place at Holy Cross Primary School’s swimming pool.

Playball is offered privately on our school grounds once a week directly after school.

Ballet is offered privately in our school hall directly after school.

Fundraising

Our school has a fundraising committee consisting of willing parents that arrange at least one main fundraising event per term.  These funds always promise to be fun-filled and the funds that are raised are used to better the children’s equipment and facilities, e.g. jungle gyms, musical instruments, etc.
